There are only two more rounds left in the Regular Season in East Asia Super League. Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

The game between third ranked Hong Kong HK Eastern (2-3) and fourth ranked Japanese Tochigi Brex (2-2) was the most important one in the last round on Wednesday night. HK Eastern was defeated by Tochigi Brex in a tough game in Tochigi 74-83. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of HK Eastern. It was a key game for the second position in the league. Tochigi Brex looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. American guard DJ Newbill (193-1992, college: Penn State) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 23 points, 8 rebounds and 10 assists. His fellow American import center Grant Jerrett (208-1993, college: Arizona) contributed with 22 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Serbian-French power forward Alexandre Gavrilovic (208-1991, college: Towson) answered with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 11 rebounds for HK Eastern. Defending Japanese champion moved-up to second place, which they share with Fubon Braves. HK Eastern at the other side dropped to the fourth position with three games lost. Tochigi Brex is again looking forward to face HK Eastern (#4) in the next round. HK Eastern will have a break next round.
An interesting game for Japanese Golden Kings (3-1) which played road game in Macau against 4th placed Macau Macau BB (0-6). Third ranked Golden Kings had an easy win 102-79. It was a great evening for American power forward Jack Cooley (206-1991, college: Notre Dame, agency: Pensack Sports) who led his team to a victory scoring 25 points and 9 rebounds (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field). Alex Kirk helped adding 25 points and 8 rebounds. Runfeng Ye responded with 23 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Golden Kings have a solid series of three victories in a row. Ryukyu keeps a position of league leader, which they share with Alvark Tokyo. Macau BB at the other side still closes the standings with six games lost. Ryukyu will play against league's leader Pilots in Taoyuan in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Macau BB will have a break next round.
An interesting game for Japanese Alvark (3-1) which played road game in Changwon against 4th placed South Korean Sakers (1-5). Third ranked Alvark managed to get a 7-point victory 88-81. It was an exceptional evening for Marcus Foster who led the winners and scored 27 points. Assem Marei came up with a double-double by scoring 27 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists for LG Sakers in the defeat. Sakers' coach rotated twelve players in this game, but that didn't help. Alvark have a solid series of three victories in a row. Alvark Tokyo keeps a position of league leader, which they share with Ryukyu. Defending South Korean champion LG Sakers keep the fourth place with five games lost. Alvark Tokyo will meet at home league's second-placed Kings in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. LG Sakers will have a break next round.




Macau BB - Ryukyu GK 79-102

An interesting game for Japanese Golden Kings (3-1) which played road game in Macau against 4th placed Macau Macau BB (0-6). Third ranked Golden Kings had an easy win 102-79. Ryukyu dominated down low during the game scoring 88 of its points in the paint compared to Macau BB's 62. Ryukyu players were unselfish on offense dishing 32 assists comparing to just 16 passes made by Macau BB's players. It was a great evening for American power forward Jack Cooley (206-1991, college: Notre Dame, agency: Pensack Sports) who led his team to a victory scoring 25 points and 9 rebounds (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field). American-Japanese center Alex Kirk (211-1991, college: N.Mexico, agency: Pensack Sports) helped adding 25 points and 8 rebounds. Five Golden Kings players scored in double figures. Runfeng Ye responded with 23 points and Maltese center Samuel Deguara (230-1991) scored 10 points. An interesting game for Japanese Alvark (3-1) which played road game in Changwon against 4th placed South Korean Sakers (1-5). Third ranked Alvark managed to get a 7-point victory 88-81. Alvark Tokyo made 16-of-18 free shots (88.9 percent) during the game. It was an exceptional evening for American Marcus Foster (191-1995, college: Creighton) who led the winners and scored 27 points. Spanish Sebastian Saiz (205-1994, college: Ole Miss) accounted for 24 points and 6 rebounds for the winning side. Egyptian center Assem Marei (206-1992, college: MSU) came up with a double-double by scoring 27 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists and Nigerian center Micheal Eric (211-1988, college: Temple) added 12 points and 9 rebounds respectively for LG Sakers in the defeat. Sakers' coach rotated twelve players in this game, but that didn't help. Alvark have a solid series of three victories in a row.
